File encryption

AES-256-GCM

ML-KEM-1024

Establishes the shared secret used to derive the file encryption key.

Key derivation: HKDF-SHA-512.

Simplified illustration: ML-KEM establishes a shared secret using the recipient’s public key; HKDF derives the file encryption key.
